Pastor Russell Johnson, from Pursuit, kicked off Encounter weekend, on Friday evening, with a word from God for Church of Grace.
He said, "we are walking, living, breathing ambassadors of God's Kingdom..." His hope for us is that we will leave Encounter weekend with an enflamed heart. Luke 24:32- were not our hearts burning within us while He talked to us on the road, and opened to us the scriptures. (NIV)
Pastor Russell gave an extremely interesting detailed account of Paul's message at Areopagus Court found in Acts 17.
He also stated, "Church of Grace's assignment is to be a voice of God's truth to those in the world around us and in doing so, reap a soul of harvest and be difference makers."
