In this week's message, Pastor Tom continued his series on the book of 1st Corinthians by picking up in chapter four. The title of this week's message is Faithfulness - the Key to Success. Being faithful IS the key to success in life and is summed up in 1 Corinthians 4:2- Moreover, it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. (NKJV) This verse is the theme of the entire chapter.
In 1 Corinthians 4, we learn not to walk in who we are but what Christ made us to be. We should not live in the past but in the present and the future. Paul did not judge himself (vs. 3) because the blood of Jesus had removed all of his past sins. The sins we've committed are not being held against our salvation and will not keep us out of heaven.
