21 Days of Prayer | January 4 - 24, 2026
Please join us in prayer from January 4 - 24. Can you spend a few extra minutes each day to lift up our families, church, and government leaders. God is moving mightily in our Nation and churches and as we continue to grow let's press in to hear God's voice and receive answer to prayer!
We will be meeting in person on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm - 7:30pm and Saturday mornings from 8am - 9am at Church of Grace.
Below is a prayer guide. These listed prayer items are not intended to be exhaustive but rather serve as a starting point that we can all unify around. Many of these come from biblical examples of prayers in the New Testament.
Sunday, January 4th
Prayer for our church
- Every member would continue to grow in faith and love. That they would seek the Lord's will in everything and live a life worthy of God's Kingdom. 2 Thessalonians 1:3; Ephesians 4:1-3
Monday, January 5th
Prayer for our leaders / elders of the church
- Pray that they would be protected, encouraged, strenghtened, provided for, and filled with joy. Pray that they would be sensitive to the needs of the people and fulfill their calling with humility. Ephesians 6:19-20; Hebrews 13:17-19; Acts 12:5
Tuesday, January 6th
Prayer for our families
- Growth and favor in their careers to provide for their family. Wisdom to set boundaries, prioritize the right things, and seek the Lord together. Pray that family members would be reconciled where there has been division. Pray that there would be forgiveness instead of bitterness. Pray that our families would model the love and unity of the Holy Trinity. Hebrews 12:14-15; Colossians 3:12-15; 1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
Wednesday, January 7th
Prayer for marriages
- Pray for protection from anything that might harm the marriage, including selfishness, neglect, external threats, and bad thoughts. Pray for renewal and increased affection, restoration, and forgiveness for those struggling. Pray for a greater vision of God's will for the marriage where joy abounds and God's blessing reigns. Pray that the marriages at Church of Grace will continue to grow in strength, tenderness, understanding, and spiritual growth. Ephesians 5:21-33
Thursday, January 8th
Prayer for our children
- It is God's desire that all children would come to knowledge of Him, so we pray that they would be given a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him that they might know Him better and personally. We pray that they children will follow the Lord with all of their heart, serve God their entire life, be strong and courageous in facing challenges and temptations, become leaders who are examples in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. Deuteronomy 13:4; 1 Timothy 4:11; Ephesians 1:17; Joshua 1:9
Friday, January 9th
Prayer for prodigals
- We pray that the Lord would open their eyes to the truth of the gospel and that He would send forth laborers to them that would share the truth of God's Word in an effective manner. Pray that they would encounter the love of Christ and that the desire to know Him would be greater than any other desire. 1 Timothy 2:1-4; Ephesians 1:17; 2 Thessalonians 3:5
Saturday, January 10th
Prayer for wisdom and discernment
- We all need the Holy Spirit's daily guidance so we pray that we will make wise decisions, discerning not only what is right and wrong but what is best according to His will for our lives. Pray for sound judgment in our relationships that we may connect with people in productive and life-giving ways. Philippians 1:9-11; Proverbs 4:5-7; James 1:5-8
Sunday, January 11th
Prayer of Praise
- Remember - we look back in our life at the faithfulness of God and give thanks and praise because He is worthy of our trust and devotion.
- Sing - "Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit." Ephesians 5:18-19
- Give Thanks - "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Monday, January 12th
Prayer of Intercession
- We pray for those who do not have a relationship with Jesus. Those who are relationally connected with us; family, friends, and coworkers. We pray they would be granted the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him that they might know God better. We pray that their eyes would be open to the glories of God in Jesus. We pray that the Lord would send out workers into His harvest field. We pray that we would have boldness and courage to go. Luke 10:2-3; Ephesians 6:19; 2 Corinthians 4:4-6; Ephesians 1:17
- We pray for our church family freedom from addictions, strength to resist fleshly temptations, discernment to know God's will, and courage to obey. Ephesians 5:15-17; Luke 22:32
Tuesday, January 13th
Prayer of Faith
- We pray for physical and emotional healing for our church family. We believe it is the Lord's will for wholeness and peace in our bodies and minds. We believe the Holy Scriptures and the gifts given by the Spirit will strengthen and heal what is broken. James 5:14-16; Matthew 8:17
Wednesday, January 14th
Prayer of Petition for Financial Well-Being
- Financial well-being: we pray for the financial needs to be met in our congregation. We pray for favor, job opportunities, progress in careers, wisdom to manage finances well, new income ideas, and an increase of generosity in our hearts. We pray anxiety and fear induced by financial insecurity would be replaced with the peace of God who knows what we have need of. Proverbs 11:12, 22:9; Philippians 4:19; 2 Corinthians 9:6-11
Thursday, January 15th
Prayer for Daily Bread
- What is meant by daily bread? We ask God to provide everything included in the necessities and nourishment for our bodies, such as food, drink, clothing, shoes, house, work, money, property, godly spouse, godly children, godly members of our family, godly and faithful rulers in government, good government practices and laws, good weather, peace, health, decency, honor, good friends, faithful neighbors, godly wisdom, and knowledge. Matthew 6:9-13
Friday, January 16th
Prayer for Unity
- We confess and repent of any bitterness harbored in our hearts towards others. We forgive freely as we have been forgiven. We pray for the strength to forgive those who have caused us harm and release them from that debt.
- With the bonding power of peace and humility, we pray for unity in the church. That we would be of one mind and one heart, standing together in faith and love. Ephesians 4:2-3; Philippians 1:27, 2:1-4, 4:2
Saturday, January 17th
Prayer for Equipping
- In regard to all that God has called us to do in working with and through us, we pray that we would be fully equipped with everything necessary to fulfill His pleasure. We pray for the necessary patience and endurance, the right motives, growth in our skills and talents, increase in influence, sensitivity to His leading and direction, and fruitfullness in all things, all to the glory of God. Hebrews 13:20-21; Colossians 1:9-12; Philippians 12-13
Sunday, January 18th
Prayer of Praise
- Remember - because of the sacrificial love of Christ, we are made righteous in Him and therefore our prayers are heard.
- Sing - "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations." Psalm 100
- Give Thanks - For what He has done in our past, what He is doing in our present, and what He has promised to do in our future.
Monday, January 19th
Prayer for Church of Grace's Leaders
- We pray for the leaders, elders, and staff of Church of Grace, that they would be protected from the strategies and attacks of the enemy. That they would be filled with pastoral love and care for the congregation. That they would be sensitive to the Spirit's promptings. That they would not become weary in well-doing but steadfast, immovable, abounding in the work of the Lord with pure motives. We pray that they would be in unity of vision, mind, and heart. That they would live as examples to the congregation in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. 1 Timothy 4:11-12; Galatians 6:9-10; Hebrews 13:17-19
Tuesday, January 20th
Prayer for Church of Grace's Small Groups
- We pray for all the Small Group Leaders that they would continue to grow in faith and love. We ask the Lord to strengthen them in His love as they love His people. We pray they would not be overwhelmed with cares but filled with peace as they foster community and spiritual transformation.
- We pray for future Small Group Leaders. We pray that others in the church would answer the call of God to create environments where true relationships may be built and nurtured.
- We ask the Lord to make our Small Group leaders fruitful in all that they do, filled with joy knowing they are pleasing God. Acts 2:42-47; Matthew 28:18-19
Wednesday, January 21st
Prayer for Church of Grace Outreach & Missions
- We pray that our outreach efforts with Project Coffee Cup and Motel Church would be effective in sharing the love of God and inspiring hope in people that need it. We pray that participation in the outreaches would increase and that the Lord would open up more opportunities bless our communities.
- We pray for our missions partners. ZOE, Empower International, Ministers Fellowship International, Association of Related Churches that they would be fully resourced for the vision God has given them. That they would be protected from enemies and find favor with their respective governments. May they continue to reach more people, rescue and educate more children, and may the Gospel continue to grow and bear fruit in these nations. Mark 16:15-20; 1 John 3:17-18; Matthew 25:34-40; 1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
Thursday, January 22nd
Prayer for Grace Kids Ministry
- We pray for all the ministers who serve our children that they would be refreshed, strengthened, and filled with joy as they continue to serve. We pray for their well-being and continual growth in their spiritual gifts.
- We pray that the ministry would be fully staffed and resourced with anything need to effectively teach and train our children.
- We pray for the children that they would grow in their intellectual understanding of the gospel, and experience God holistically leading to a genuine personal relationship with Jesus. May their faith continue to grow. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24; 2 Thessalonians 3:5; Psalm 78:5-6; Isaiah 54:13
Friday, January 23rd
Prayer for Team Grace
- List of ministries in Team Grace: Worship Team, Host Team, Prayer/Ministry Team, Media Team, Set-up Team, Follow-Up Team, Safety Team, Growth Track Team.
- We pray for each member of the team to grow in their relationship with God, their character, their skills and giftings.
- We pray they would be strengthened in their love for God and people, pursue excellence in all they do, and be filled with joy as they serve.
- We pray that each team would be fully staffed and resourced for all their needs. Ephesians 2:10, 4:1-16; 1 Corinthians 12:12-31; 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
Saturday, January 24th
Prayer for our Community
- We pray that Church of Grace would be a life-giving witness of Jesus to our surrounding cities.
- We pray that the Lord would bless our communities, conflicts would be resolved, the broken would be reached and healed, the lost would be found and saved, families would be reconciled in peace, government officials would operate with God's wisdom, schools would be protected and safe from violence and harm, families would prosper, jobs would be created, the addict would be set free, and the truth of God's Word would spread.
- We pray for all the churches and their pastoral teams in our communities that they would continue to thrive, revival would be ignited, their churches would grow in influence and reach, and ultimately that Jesus would be glorified. Acts 1:7-8; Colossians 1:6; 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2
