This week Pastor Tom not only continued in the series, Can God Be Trusted but continued with the message on Covenant that he started last week. In his message, he talked about how we now live under a better covenant with better blessings. Hebrews 8:6 - But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. (NKJV)
Pastor Tom also discussed how we need to "grow up in the Lord." He emphasized the "seven growth spurts which are absolutely important for you to live in the new and living way."
2 Peter 1:5-7 - But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, to brotherly kindness love. (NKJV)
