This week Pastor Josh finished his series on family and parenting with This Is Us, part two, Connecting With Their Heart. This message is not only about parenting but also about discipleship. He talks about how disciplining your children with boundaries and rules is not the final solution because it does not change their hearts.
In Ezekiel 36:26, we see God's plan to fix humanity, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you..." Pastor Josh explains that bad behaviors are symptoms of what is happening in the heart. Parents need to realign their children's hearts. He then gives several points on how to connect with the hearts of our children.
