Continuing with the Heaven On Earth series Pastor Josh gives an encouraging message titled Joy In The Spirit. In this message, he points out that the book of Acts is filled with the Spirit of God, writing the story of the gospel going out to the world.
Pastor Josh reveals that true joy begins when we are made a character in God's story and that it is a privilege to be in God's story.
He goes on to explain that when we are going through trials, we need a change of perspective. We need the perspective of Paul. He believed regardless of his circumstances, what was important was that the result led to Christ being magnified. Philippians 1:18- But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this, I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice. (NIV)
